Ride the Indi Cars at Wild Side Recreations Try to match the hidden time. Equipment and volunteers sponsored by Wild Side Recreations Inc.

Full Military Obstacle Course At the Kamview Nordic Centre. Equipped and Supervised by The Canadian Armed Forces Recruiting Staff

Batting Competition Each team member will get 3 balls thrown by the Border Cats Pitcher. Distance of hit will determine points. sponsored by the Thunder Bay Border Cats

How to Win the Bell Urban Adventure

The winning team will be determined by the total amount of points collected.

1. At registration on Saturday night there will be a questionnaire with a combination of 30 brain teasers – each question will be worth 5 points if answered correctly.

2. Each participant will receive one "PASS". If you elect not to "PASS" on any activities it will be worth 50 points at the end.

3. Registration/pledges collected will be One point for each dollar submitted. e.g.) Team registration of $300.00 will equal 300 points. If the team collects extra pledges it will also be $1 = 1 point.

4. There are six sites, each site will have a timed activity worth 20 points if completed by the full team, and 50 points for the fastest team.

Example:

Registration fee 300 points

Registration questionnaire 150 points

5 activities completed 100 points

4 Passes per team – not used 200 points

Total points 750 points

Extra pledges (example $82) 82 points

Total points awarded 832 points

There is a definite point advantage in bringing in extra pledges.

Prince Arthur Waterfront Hotel & Suites 9:30 a.m. Team Captain’s Meeting

Team captain’s must attend the meeting with Bell Urban Adventure 2007 officials. Each team captain will receive event rules, team scores from the Brain Teaser Bonus

Challenge, Team Score Card and the Bell Urban Adventure 2007 1st Assignment.

10:00 a.m.

• Opening ceremonies and official start.

• Bell Urban Adventure 2007 Assignments are in no particular order. Teams will be sent to different locations in a specified area at the same time.

• Travel time is not included in any of the Timed Assignments. Speeding between assignments is not necessary.

• Each Assignment location will have a check-in/check-out table. Volunteers can answer any questions or refer Team Captains to the main command post.

• The clock for the Timed Assignment begins as soon as the Team Captain checks in. Any organizing or decision-making should be done before the Team Captain checks in.

• At completion of each Assignment and at check-out, the Team Captain will receive their instructions for the next Assignment.

• Talk to your friends, co-workers, neighbours and family about joining a team.

• Each team will consist of 4 participants. One team member must have a valid driver’s license and a vehicle.

When you register, you are expected to raise pledges or make a donation.

Registration Fee - $20 per team member and a minimum of $220.00 in team pledges. Individual Registration form and fee ($20.00) will be accepted at Fresh Air Experience, The Wilderness Supply Company or Rollin’ Thunder.

Early Bird Registration - There will be an Early Bird Registration Night at the Prince Arthur Hotel in the Provincial Room from 7-9 pm on Friday May 18, 2007.

Team members can pay their Registration Fee ($20.00), get information on event challenges and even register for one mini-course for the challenge of their choice.

• Before you register your team, assign a team captain to help in the success of your team. The team captain is responsible for the team as a whole. The team captain conveys all relevant information to the team and is responsible for monitoring team members’ progress to encourage them to collect the pledges. During the Bell Urban Adventure 2007 challenge, the team captain will check in and check out at each assignment site and receive assignment instructions.

• Think of a creative name that captures the spirit of your team.

• Registration qualifies each team member for a t-shirt, BBQ dinner and draw prizes.

Team names will be printed on the back of the t-shirt for teams that have registered by May 18, 2007.

Barbecue And Awards Ceremonies Will be held following the completion of all the Assignments at the Prince Arthur Waterfront Hotel & Suites
